Glad I could help with the Twilight Zone thing.
Mare Winningham was in "Button, Button" and the exteriors of that episode of the 1980s TZ was shot in an apartment building I used to live in with Stennie's and my mutual old friend Scott (not Scottie-dude). (The same building was used for the exteriors of Adrien Brody's apartment in Hollywoodland. (It's a very seedy apartment building)
And Stennie, why do you want to marry Claude Brodesser? I think he's married now because he currently goes by "Claude Brodesser Ackner" on his KCRW show. Sorry :(

I gotta disagree with you guys on The Incredibles--I think it's the strongest of the Pixars. It was the most non-kids movie of them all and I felt genuine concern for the lives of the characters--unlike any other Pixar film. I'm just sayin'...
HATED finding Nemo. Didn't even finish watching it. Bug's Life was fun.

So it seems now that you've cleared up the Dirndl issue, you've got a bit of a Lederhosen one. See, Lederhosen means, literally, leather pants. They usually come up to the knee and have a tie and are worn with silly socks and boots.
The whole outfit, mens' or womens', is referred to as Tracht.
Each region has its own patterns for Tracht, and in the south of Germany as well as all over Austria, people wear these things to fancy events - I've seen people at the opera dressed like this - green hat with a feather, boobs pushed up to the ears and all.
I have no recollection of the Twilight Zone in the 80s. Did this last very long?
I am certainly no authority on meat, but I remember that my mother would only refreeze meat if it were thawed, cooked, and then frozen.
I don't think meat will spoil if you refreeze it - I'm with Stenns. It will just not taste right, and won't have the best texture. I think that goes for most things - refreezing stuff changes the texture.
Like tofu - freezing it changes the texture, but in a very good way. I recommend you try that before you eat the meat.
I hate anyone who does the Nutrisystem commercials - I didn't realize there were about three different brain-dead females on there, none of whom know anything about proper grammar ("... because it works so good!"). And that eHarmony guy -- I hate him, and every stupid couple on the commericals.
Here's a soon-to-be-topical question? Who or what should be a new balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? And who would you least like to see as one of the special guests at Herald Square? The one thing I am excited about is that since Katie decamped to CBS, we WON'T have to watch her do the parade.
Ohh... we need to design a HUCKLEBUG balloon! What do you suppose that should look like?
hey this ones for lily who posted a comment on feb 7th 06. kiss my a$$ lily i'm on the commercial for ns and may you gain so much weight that you have to start the program. losing weight is not something to be made fun of its hard work. and being infront of a tv camera is very nerve wrecking, so excuse me. i hate all people who sit around b-tching about hot women that make me jealous!!
