If you want to see me in person, you'll have to come over and fix my external hard drive! It's acting up and HoJew blames you. :)

Meanwhile, back at the ranch:

1. So have you guys seen the new blogger beta? My friends/neighbors Nina and Morgan have the blogger beta blogs and I can't comment on their blog and it annoys the snot right out of me.

2. What are you each grateful for this week?

4. Who are your top 3 favorite movie prostitutes? (e.g. Irma La Douce)

Hey - thanks for fixing the sound. Both last week and this, I can listen to you both without busting an eardrum.

I'm going to leave you a long comment, so get a drink and pop a squat.

1. First off, I listened to week 21 not in an elevated train, but much higher. I was in an airplane on my way to Philadelphia. Incidentally, I had no internet access in PA, so I couldn't comment. So sorry.

2. I got interrupted while listening to the podcast, and now it is time for IRC. I'll have to listen further and comment anon.

Hey, thanks for the plug, guys! I'll have to get TheWife to editing the latest episode of TheUsCast.

Also, Stennie, are you going to any of the 3D films at the Egyptian over the next week or so? If so, let me know which one(s) and maybe I'll see the same one. I'm definitely going to see Gog which is AWESOMELY bad, but in a fun way. It's screening Saturday 9/16, 1:15pm.

Also wanted to mention that I love how the latest episode of the Huckle Bug is posted on Thursday. That means I get a special Friday treat to listen to at work. I wish all wageslaves could listen!! :D

Singing in the Rain is TheWife's favorite movie ever.

I enjoy the Donnie Darko, but I'm not a huge fan. It is cool :)

Random question: When you hear a voice but don't see the person speaking, what color hair do you imagine the person having?

Bet, you're mom's Bday is Monday? Mine is on Sunday. And Stennie, you're not alone--I totally missed my dad's 70th back in July. I feel your pain. :(

Ugly Betty is being shot at a back lot I used to work at and it's based on a telenovella (Spanish-language soap) that skewers the pop culture obsession with looks. I believe it's produced by Salma Hayek so you know the production will be HOT! ;) Kidding. I've heard the original is pretty good, but a bit silly. FYI...

I went to high school with Aaron Sorkin's cousin, Andrea. :D He and I also share the same alma mater, Syracuse University. And I was over Sorkin when he stopped writing on Sports Night.

I have cable, but only watch Daily Show, Colbert Report, C-SPAN and starting October 6 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!

Why? Because I'm a NEEEEERD!

Well, that, and the new BSG is impecably well written. I HIGHLY recommend renting the first two seasons on DVD and tuning into the new season on October 6. Trust me--you won't be disappointed!!

Man, if that show ever gets cancelled, I'll kill myself!!

...not really.

Although a few episodes in season 2 are horrible--but the rest of the series TOTALLY makes up for it. The 2nd series finale blew my head off. Cuh-razy that finale was!!

Hey, can't you play Trivial Pursuit on-air?

Also, the fake news story sounds a bit like NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me--which is quite good.

OH YEAH and one last thing, I wanted to suggest to Stennie that she check out http://music.podshow.com/ for music from independent musicians who are let podcasters play their music on your shows for free (I believe it's free). I've been meaning to check them out for months to maybe add a bit of musical flair to TheUsCast, but I keep forgetting.

K, I'm going to end this absurdly long comment now. Can you tell I'm bored at work?

GREAT SHOW, YOU GUYS!!

I love my prize for this week. I actually might be inclined to try some Tai Chi, although I'm not sure if I'm ready to take lessons from a guy in parachute pants sporting a mullet and a fake tan.

The real question is... where did YOU get it? And why?

Love it.
