I'm hopelessly behind in my listening. But someday, I'd like to know your answers to the age-old question: What's in your junk drawer?

Hey there - I found out yesterday that Bet and Stennie make great company while cleaning the bathroom. Feel free to take that as you might. Ervin came wandering in and was quite confused that my computer was having a conversation with me - I think he thought it was like a telephone call. Anyway - I appreciated the company while cleaning - and I even listened twice - and also to part of Week 4. Damn, my bathroom must have really been dirty.

I am afraid that ya'll may have to repeat the no movie/music reference blog - or maybe that was also a literary reference. Hmmmm. I'm not going to say what it was - I don't want to give C. A. any amunition.

Wow - Chicken in a pot - never seen that. I will definitely be looking out for that in the next skee-ball-type place I hit.

Congrats to Stennie and the new job - I hope you continue to be happy!!

Thanks for the Kimmel book references - I don't remember you guys mentioning it before - but I am forgetful these days. I will add those to my summer vacation reading list!!

Not only is the MINI Cooper my dream car, but I am GOING to get one when I'm done with school. It's a well-known fact.

Oh man, I want a Mini, too. There are a number of them in the parking lot at work that I get to lust over every day. I want one with a hard top in the dark hunter green. Actually - that is the first sports car I have ever wanted. My second choice would be one of those new Ford Mustangs that have a lot of the stylings of the originals (my grandparents had one and they restored it for me when I learned to drive - got to drive it for 1 1/2 years before going off to college!). Krizzer - jealous am I!

Oh man, I loved the stereo! Stennie in one ear and Bet in the other. It's so HOT!

Thanks for the shoutout and the plug for the 5 Minute Show, too :)

I would totally dig a Mini Cooper, but my next car will probably be a Smart Car--they're not available in the US, yet--but if you saw the new Da Vinci Code movie, there's supposedly a car chase involving the Smart. It's cute, sporty and very small :)

Armondo and Stennie sitting in a tree...

OH and does your penguin love come from Mr. Flibble on Red Dwarf? (Remember the ep where Rimmer gets the holovirus?) /geekmode

Thanks for the shout out! I was totally thrilled and stopped in my tracks when I heard you guys talking about me.

Stennie, hope the new job is kick ass. We'll have to do lunch now that you're so close!

Just got done watching Lost. I watch it occasionally and to tell you the truth, I'm not that lost(no pun intended.) The finale looked good and I have a few of my own questions that I hope to get answered someday. One was answered tonight, whether or not the button really did anything. But of course it opened up a bunch of new questions.

I hate getting sucked into to tv anymore because with all the cliffhangers, or shows that I start to love and then it gets canceled, I can't handle it. I can barely handle the week to week suspense. I don't enjoy tv like I used to. Bummer.

I watched the series finale of Alias. I started watching the show in the beginning, but then thought that Sydney Bristow was too whiny and emotional to be a "special top level spy." So, I stopped watching. But from time to time if a preview looked interesting I'd watch again. The websites for these shows really help you catch up if you have the time to read all the episode summaries. My boyfriend and I watched it and thought that they really had more episodes to shoot, but since this last season got cut short, they squeezed everything into two hours. It jumped around alot. I know they had to wrap up everything, but still, it was a little far fetched. Bummer.

Okay, enough about tv shows...

My dream car right now(since I was car shopping for a month) would probably be the Acura TL or new RL. The RL is top of the line $50,000, the TL is $35,000. Both sweet rides and lots of bells and whistles. I ended up with a 1998 Green Metallic Pearl Honda Accord, 4 door. It has nothing I wanted in a car expect it was in my top three car companys to buy(Acura, Honda or Toyota) and it was exactly the amount of money of my insurance check. Has LOTS of miles, no sunroof, no cd player and 4 doors. I feel like a mom now and I don't even have the kids to stuff in the backseat. I had a beautiful 2 door Acura RSX, red! I'm a sports car kind of girl. I didn't realized how much I identified with my car until it was gone and I had to get another one one a limited budget. So, I'm saving up for another sports car down the road...have you SEEN the new Saturn Sky? Sweet!

Saw MI:3 this past weekend. I was expecting a snooze fest since I'm quite tired of Tom Cruise, but I thought it was fairly entertaining. If you get past that it's Tom Cruise, I actually enjoyed myself. I was actually surprised when it was over, I thought, "Well, alright then."

This weekend is DaVinci Code. I one bettered those that simply read the book. I listened to the audio CDs, which I think is always the way to go. The narrator was awesome and really brought the characters and story to life. So, I'm excited to see the movie(actually I have been since I finished the CDs.)

Okay, I'm done yakkin'!

Cheerio!
Kelly :)

PS. HEIDIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

my dream car...well, i LOVE my 2003 (new model) toyota corolla. but way back when i was in high school i saw a picture of jerry seinfeld on the cover of a magazine with the new beetle...ages and ages before they actually released them...and i desperately wanted a bright yellow volkswagon beetle, the new version.

of course, when they came out, i realized that while adorable, the car is desperately too small. i would want one for a second car. i like the mini coops too.

i collect cartoon action figures, mostly of a superheroic/star wars-ian nature. specifically, i collect wonder woman, gargoyles, and disney's cinderella. oh, i suppose i also collect my favorite tv shows on dvd. but all of my collections have been on hold lately since i don't have room in the current budget.

when i was a kid, my sister and i used to collect hat pins from all of the national and state parks we visited...and we visited A LOT of them.

i'm trying not to collect too much these days, as i am trying for the simpler, baggage-free life. but i think that's mostly against my nature.

bet- when/how/why did your sherman and peabody collection start???
