Okay, so what about classical music? I want to know what your classical music favorite is--that doesn't come off of a sampler record sold by Hans Conried on television. Mainly, I want to hear Bet say that she likes a piece of classical music in front of an audience.

And why are you guys so reticient about theory pooing? I poo on Bet's theories regularly. There needs to be more Hucklebug theory pooing going on.

And while I'm at it, I DARE you guys to do an entire show without talking about music or movies. I dare you!

I don't think you can do it. NYAH!

Before anyone starts pointing and laughing, yeah, I made two typos.

I am so sorry, you are right. I hadn’t listened to all of the past huckle-bug podcasts before I accused you two of not being equal opportunity doers. I stand corrected.

Bet, about VS models: wingless, shoeless, shirtless… you get the idea!

I feel like a guppy swimming with the sharks when you two talk about movies! For a neophyte like me can you suggest one or two all-time must-see movies that will get me started on the road to cinematic enlightenment?

What as a listener do I want to hear more of? Well okay here is the real reason I listen, I love to hear Stennie curse!

Hey - I am a little haphazard in my listening - so I have a few old comments:

I was quite disappointed when I realized it was the HuckleBuck song - I thought it was the HuckleBug. I suppose it will always be "Do the HuckleBug" to me.

Loved Green Acres - LOOVED the pig - Loved Eb.

Sorry about keeping the In-laws captive for so long - we are trying to fit in a night to watch soon so I can return!!

Week 6 Comments:
Aggravation - played that a lot with my 2 aunts at my Grandmother's house when I was in....maybe 1st/2nd grade.

Later in life - I had friends who had Fascination. VERY similar game.

But - my favorite version - is the unpolitically correct "Wa-Hoo." I took custody of my grandparents' game board after they died. When I was little - say in the 1st-4th grade time frame - I would spend about a month with my grandparents in Baton Rouge every summer. Every saturday (or maybe friday) night we would go down to my grandfather's sister's house at the end of the road and they would play Wa-Hoo (I don't know who ended up with her game board.). It has a nice wooden frame and 2 layers of pressed board with the top one having holes cut for the marbles. And of course - the token big indian with the big headdress. Good times....

Highlight of the week - remembering my grandparents playing Wa-Hoo.

Lowlight of the week - getting unvolunteered to play for the summer musical.

Ok, I haven't actually listened to the Week Six podcast yet, but I've finally gotten all caught up, and I'm loading the podcast now. But I want to make sure my comment gets in in time to get my shout-out for next week! Oh, the stress of it!

I was dissapointed to learn that the song is "Huckle-buck" too.

I ain't listened yet, and it's prolly too late, but I sure does want my shout out.

So Bet gives it away that Darth Vader is Luke's father?

Damn! I missed the cutoff for a shoutout. WAAAA.

:(

I am curious--do you guys play video games at all? Probably not since you're GIRRRRRLS.

Thanks for the shout out!! I do go by ThePete on the 'net, though in person Stennie can always call me Peteski. And so can Bet. :)

And I agree--Star Trek II--if you can't enjoy that movie (some how, some way, even if you don't officially like the film) you're just not living life.

However, I must say that Bet, your taste in movies is impecable!! (I already knew that about Stennie.) I'm consistently impressed with the movies you watch and enjoy. Very cool!

Highlight of the week, at my part time projectionist gig, I got a $20 tip!

Lowlight of the week, hasn't happened yet. I get to go to court on Thursday morning to defend myself against a lawsuit from a collection agency on an old credit card debt. I don't think I owe it but I'm far from a legal expert. :(

Hey, here's another question for you guys: you like movies so much, what's your favorite way to watch a movie?

My favorite way is to see it on not just any big screen but at the Chinese Theater or the Egyptian or at the Cinerama Dome here in LA. The average multiplex doesn't do it for me. :)

ANYway, keep up the good work! Oh and TheWife and I did our first rip-off podcast of Huckle-Bug! Well, it's not a rip-off so much as an "homage" ;)

Check it out here:

http://thepete.com/thexodcast-episode-1/

We had called it TheOddcast only to discover everyone and their damn uncle does a podcast with that name (or a very similar one). So, it's TheXodcast even though in the first episode we call it TheOddcast. :P So, so sad.
