I haven't listened yet, but Stennie said I had to leave the following as a comment:

You should add a list of people you want to tell to fuck off to your weekly features.

eh, i'm no big fan of 'some like it hot'. i don't get the allure. prolly cause i am not a huge fan of jack lemmon or tony curtis. ok, i don't really like either of them at all.

and when you guys first mentioned '8 and 1/2' a few podcasts back, i initially thought you were talking about that luke perry movie where he is a bull rider...yeah, so i was pretty confused about why you liked that movie so much! then i quickly realized that luke perry's movie was '8 seconds' and '8 and 1/2' was something completely different.

i didn't see the end of the 'church bells' song coming either! it was quite funny.

we definitely need to do a cd mix switcheroo sequel.

absolutely NO BOBBLEHEADS!! i hate them and they are evil!

have a good week off!

Oh, I am sooo far behind. I've been busy car shopping and working O/T. I'll get caught up, I promise. And I've only left one comment at the beginning of your podcasting adventures. So, I don't know if you've done a shout out to me except for mentioning that "Kelly with a 'y' doesn't have a husband."

I'm trying to catch up on all the comments.

Hmmm, my favorite game to play as a kid....Clue, the VCR game. I had Clue I and Clue II. Actors acting out all of the scenes, kind of like a movie. I couldn't get anyone to play with me(I still can't to this day and I'm 32) so when I was younger, I would sit and just watch the tapes for fun. Makes me sad just thinking about it...I brought the games to CA with me in hopes that someday someone will play it with me. At least once. Now that there's "Scene It", I don't think it stands a chance.

These days when my friends and I have game nights, we usually do Pictionary. But we've been playing it for about 5 or 6 years now so we're getting good and it's getting old. Anyone hear of "Lie-brary?" Sounds cool. Darryl Hannah produced the board game. You make up the 1st sentence to a book and mix it up with others and everyone has to guess the correct one. Harder than it sounds!

Low light of the week-still being without a car to call my own. Haven't found another car to buy after totaling my beloved car on April Fool's Day. (BTW, I played a cruel joke on my mom. I got home afterward and phoned her. ME: 'Hey mom, guess what? I totaled my car!" HER: "What!?!" ME: "Nay, April Fools!" HER: "Kelly!" ME: "Well, actually, I'm not kidding. I did just wreck my car about 2 hours ago..." It's fun to panic your mom 3,000 miles away!

Highlight of the week-FINALLY shipping out my friend's overdue bridal shower and wedding presents. (She got married last October.)

Topics to discuss in future podcasts:

1. Why it sucks to get hooked on a tv show only to have it yanked after 2 or 3 episodes.
2. Why America loves the pain and suffering on Reality TV.
3. Why love is blind.
4. Why Mac and Cheese is addictive.
5. Why Tom Cruise needs a pill...or two.
6. If Oprah ran for President, would she win? If Angelina Jolie ran for President, would she win? If they ran together on a ticket, would they win?
7. Why do people care about Paris Hilton?
8. Mac vs. PC
9. What's your dream car if money was no object?
10. Where would you like to retire?
11. When will Hollywood stop making remakes? Plus remakes or remakes?

I'd turn gay for Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel.

Stennie-my friends and I are having our Classic Movie Night tomorrow night, so I'll check your movie list afterward to see how you rated whatever we're seeing(cause I'm sure you've already seen it.)

Isn't "Star Trek: Wrath of Khan" the one where that guy gets the bug in his helmet and it crawls into his ear? That TOTALLY grossed me out as a kid.

Alright, enough for now. I'll try to post more often.

Cheerio good folks!

:)

Addendum:

#11 of topics should read, "Remakes of remakes." Not "Remakes or remakes..."

Forgot to mention that I love Bet's laugh!

For essential viewing, I'd choose:

Double Indemnity
Casablanca
Notorious
Rear Window
The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

And my top 5 would be something like:

1. Citizen Kane
2. The Best Years Of Our Lives
3. North By Northwest
4. City Lights
5. Rebel Without A Cause

And at any time, those could be replaced with 2001, Seven Samurai, A Hard Day's Night, Airplane!, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Zatoichi, This Is Spinal Tap.

Ah, Rear Window, one of my all-time favorites. I'd also add The Great Escape, The Jerk, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Dr. Strangelove.

How come you guys never discuss books? Don't you people read?

ACK! I forgot Rear Window (my favorite Hitch of all time!) and NBNW (in my top-5 favorite Hitch films)!! How could I do that???

Thanks for the shoutout!!!

Oh and I just yesterday posted a new episode of The 5 Minute Show at ThePete.Com if anyone wants to laugh at me over-acting and dressing up like a fey devil. (I really need to stop dressing up as people!!)

Looking forward to the clip show!! :D

Oh and I second the motion for you guys to do a section on the people you'd like to tell to fuck off.

Hey, thepete, why didn't you dress up as Jesus? I would have like to have seen that.

(and yes, I violated the 'posting on our own comments' rule, so there)
