You haven't lost me! I have been listening, too--sheesh--oh ye of little faith! :) I have no temp job currently and therefore no designated podcast-listening-to-time. I am caught up as of today. YAAAAAAAAAY!
I did put that link to donate to American Cancer Society, BTW. I have a bunch of other links added for helping charities, too. Some you don't even have to pay for, so if anyone wants to swing by and click, go for it! (The charity links are in the footer of each post.)
I am at such a loss for the song-stuff. Unless it came off a soundtrack or was a song played so much I hated it, I'm clueless. I do think I got the Greatest American Hero theme, though. As a kid I loved that song, but as an adult, I kinda hate it. :(
Roman Polanski, the child ass raper.
BATTLE OF ALGIERS IS GREAT.
Thanks for the offer of BSG 2.0, as predicted, I'm good. I actually have copies until a massive collector's edition DVD set of the entire series comes out. Season 4 is their final season. I heard it from Ron Moore's mouth, directly. Though they are planning a spin off series which saddens me.
I did not care for the Bicycle Thief.
I can't support the glamorization of crime.
KIDDING.
So, what was in the desk drawer??
Hey Sal, thanks for linking to that Drive-In theater site from your blog--very cool. I used to be a projectionist so every kind of movie-going is near to my heart. :)
Sucks about the server problems. I hope things get fixed soon! I can recommend my host--they've been good to me for the past seven or eight years.
Oh and if anyone is hiring a gadget or political blogger, I'M LOOKING! Send 'em my way!! (I need to make some money!!)
I listened on Thursday, didn't take notes, and looky! I can't remember what I wanted to comment on.
I think it is best for the welfare of your listeners if I don't come on and sing Gloria - The Hucklebug has got to have some quality standards. Just for the record though, I totally hate that song. Totally. Haaaaiiiiite. That song.
Then Michelle should sing 99 Luftballoons.
The last song, from 1969, was Crystal Blue Persuasion, by Tommy James and the Shondells.
So am I the only Polanski fan around these parts?
OK,
I have a lyric quiz for ya.
Who sang this?:
How's your life been going on
I got a wife now years we been going strong
Oh no there's just something I got to say
Sometimes when we make love I still see your face
Just try to recall when we were as one
